A theft that ends in captivity

Taking a relic from an elven court looks like an easy score to a human burglar. Then the princess who rules the place finds him. Rather than punishing him, she holds on to him.

The relationship that develops is dangerous for her. The throne, the nobleman she is promised to and the realm itself all stand to be affected. Candy tags it Fantasy, so it reads like romantic court intrigue with a suggestive edge, and everyone is an adult.

It is a forbidden-romance setup with a political edge: a captive who is not treated like one, a betrothed with every reason to be jealous, and a ruler who risks her throne over a thief. Candy gives no further events, so we leave the rest for you to see.
